Surprisingly, I am going to tell you no, you don’t need a real estate agent to sell your home, but I am also going to tell you that you will WANT a real estate agent to sell your home. These are the top benefits of why you will WANT a real estate agent to sell your home.

Everyone can research what they think their home should be priced at, but no one has the experience of pricing homes like a real estate agent. If you were to hire an agent to sell your home, you will be able to have them explain to you what your house should be priced at and why. There are so many different pricing trends or tricks that a typical home owner would not know about since they don’t have the experience of selling multiple homes.

Staging a home doesn’t always seem to be something that is “necessary” in order for a home to sell, but here is a secret, it definitely does help if you do. Not everyone has the creative brain to see the potential of a blank canvas so when you see an empty home, you may not be able to picture yourself living in that home.
