Hello, Friends!

As you know I recently switched brokerages. With change comes a lot of self-reflection (for me anyway). Joining Compass has provided me the opportunity to step back and take a look at myself and my business. This has led to more intentionality on many fronts.

With that said, I’d like to start from the beginning. My name is Rica Ruiz. I am a wife, married almost 15 years to my husband, Rob and a mom to our 11 year old son, Samuel who attends Audubon Elementary. We have lived in Foster City for nearly 15 years. I am also the Lead Agent at Ruiz Realty Group with Compass Real Estate.

My vision for our real estate team extends far beyond helping our clients buy, sell or invest in real estate. Prior to getting into real estate I was a stay-at-home Mom (the hardest job I’ve ever had!) and I worked at my church as the Community Coordinator. I loved helping people discover their gifts and talents to serve God, the church and our community. Truly, my heart’s desire is to help others.

Working in real estate, for me, is an extension of what I believe I’ve been gifted to do – serve others. The process of real estate in and of itself, in my opinion, is to serve our clients at the highest level. Beyond that I see our role as being a trusted and reliable resource to the communities we live and serve. Many of you subscribe to our monthly e-newsletter which provides content & information that is beneficial to YOU. We also pride ourselves in offering recommendations to a variety of vendors and services that are helpful to you. Every week we receive phone calls requesting recommendations for various products & services ranging from mortgage lenders to carpet cleaners to financial planners, trust & estate attorneys and more! We love helping you!

In return we create our own community of people helping one another. The coming year and beyond we intend to create more relationships and deepen the ones we’ve already begun to cultivate.
